Managing Invoices
Send, track, and update invoice status in TimeCurve.
Sending an invoice
Once you are happy with the draft invoice:
- In the Invoices list, click the ⋯ menu on a draft invoice.
- Select Send.
The invoice status changes from Draft to Sent. The client's email address (stored on the client record) is used for delivery.
Marking an invoice as paid
When the client pays:
- In the Invoices list, click the ⋯ menu on a sent invoice.
- Select Mark as paid.
The invoice status changes to Paid.
Overdue invoices
TimeCurve automatically flags invoices as Overdue when the due date has passed and the status is still Sent. Overdue invoices are highlighted in red in the list view and can be filtered using the Overdue status tab.
To resolve an overdue invoice, mark it as paid or cancel it.
Deleting an invoice
Only Draft invoices can be deleted:
- Open the ⋯ menu on a draft invoice.
- Select Delete.
Sent or paid invoices cannot be deleted to preserve your billing history. Cancel them instead if they are no longer needed.
Viewing invoice details
Click any row in the invoices list to open the full invoice detail view, which shows all line items, totals, tax breakdown, client information, and the invoice timeline.
